Privacy Policy — Downfall Survival Sim

Short version: Downfall Survival Sim is a single-player offline post-apocalyptic survival-strategy game. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from the game itself. All save data stays on your device. The only network interaction is with your platform store (Google Play or Apple App Store), and with RevenueCat for receipt validation, if you make the one-time in-app purchase.

Downfall Survival Sim ("the app", "Downfall") is published under the trade name XXI Online Games ("we", "us"), which is owned and operated by:

This entity is the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), although — as explained below — the app does not actually collect personal data.

Information we do not collect

The app does not collect or transmit any of the following:

Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, address)
Device identifiers (advertising ID, IMEI, IP address)
Location data
Contacts, photos, files, microphone, or camera data
Analytics, telemetry, or crash reports
Advertising data (the app contains no ads)
Login credentials (the app has no user accounts)
Multiplayer, PvP, or leaderboard data (the app is single-player only)

Information stored on your device

Your game progress — settlement, survivors, bunker rooms, resources, research, wasteland deployments, settlement history, and lifetime records — is saved entirely on-device. On iOS and Android it is written as an atomic save file in the app's private application-documents directory (managed via Flutter's path_provider).

This save data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded, synced, or backed up to any server we operate.

If you uninstall the app, this save data is deleted by the operating system along with it. We have no ability to recover or restore it.

In-app purchases

Downfall Survival Sim offers one optional, one-time non-consumable purchase called "Survivor Mode" (US $9.99), which unlocks an in-game developer console ("God Mode"). Payment is processed entirely by Google Play (on Android) or the App Store (on iOS). We never see your payment information, billing address, or store account details.

We use RevenueCat for receipt validation. As part of confirming that the purchase is genuine, RevenueCat may receive a pseudonymous app-install identifier and the purchase receipt returned by the platform store. Permissions

On Android, Downfall Survival Sim declares the INTERNET permission. It is used only to validate the optional in-app purchase through RevenueCat when you buy or restore Survivor Mode, and to request an optional store review through the platform's own review prompt. No game data, save data, or personal information is transmitted. The core game is fully playable offline.

Children

Downfall Survival Sim depicts mild, stylized survival conflict and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from any user, regardless of age. Because the app collects no data at all, it complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations such as the UK Age-Appropriate Design Code and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-K).

Age-appropriateness of the game's content (themes, mild violence, in-app purchase) is indicated by the rating on the app's store listing. Parents should review the store rating before letting children download the app.

Third-party services

The app does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, marketing, or social-media SDK. The only third parties involved are the platform stores that distribute the app and process purchases (Google Play and Apple App Store), and RevenueCat, which is used solely to validate purchase receipts as described above.

Data sharing

We do not collect data, and therefore we do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose any user data to third parties. Ever.

Your controls

iOS and Android: deleting the app removes all local saves from the device.
No server-side account: there is nothing for us to delete on our side, because we don't have an account for you in the first place.

Your rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have the right to know what personal data a company holds about you, to request deletion, and to request a copy. Because Downfall Survival Sim collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to disclose, export, or delete on request. Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change. Material changes that affect how we treat data (if that ever happens) will also be announced in the app's release notes on Google Play and the App Store.
